Rustic Potato Leek Soup
I developed this recipe during the cold winter months, when I wanted some good comfort food that would support my health. As you can see, it's chalk full of healthy ingredients that are especially good for conditions like candidiasis or when the immune system is low, maybe while fighting a cold or infection.
Leek & Swiss Chard Quiche*
This recipe is certainly a crowd pleaser! It's perfect for a hearty breakfast and can be doubled to last throughout the week. It's so delicious that no one can ever believe that it's gluten-free! Like all of the recipes that I share, it's full of health-promoting ingredients. This recipe, in particular, is very alkaline for the body.

Leah's Lentil Soup*
Who doesn't love a warm soup, on a cold, winter day! Not only is this soup delicious and filling, it's so simple to make and one of the cheapest too! It's good before a meal or as an entire meal itself. It can also be added to a grain, like brown rice, barley, or buckwheat, but is certainly just as filling alone. The spices will keep you warm too! Creamy Cashew Sour Cream
This dairy-free sour cream is super easy to make, so easy, in fact, that it only takes minutes! Not only is it delicious, but it's very nutritious. Unlike dairy sour cream, which is acidic, this one is very alkaline for the body, keeping disease and sickness at bay, also a source of probiotics. This basic recipe is a staple in my house, a go-to when I need this condiment.

Savory Potato Salad
In a world afraid of carbs, it's hard to imagine that potato salad could actually be good for you! Potato starch, like some other starchy carbohydrates, turns to a resistant starch when cooked and cooled, which means it "resists digestion" until it reaches the small intestine, making it great for blood sugar levels and a healthy pre-biotic to feed the probiotics in your gut. Red potatoes provide a good source of potassium and vitamins C & B6. They can also help boost serotonin and dopamine, improving your mood! So help yourself to a serving of this delicious potato salad, guilt-free!
